Being Grown Ups

Sometimes, I still feel like a little girl playing house. Other times, I wish I really were just playing house, then all these decisions we have to make would not be so permanent. haha. Josh and I have been super busy it seems, though when I think back to all the things we do during the week, it doesn't seem as much as it does when they're happening. This is the first night in 2 weeks that I've been able to come home from work and spend the whole night in! Josh is out playing with his brother and friends, enjoying the sun staying out so late!! He was just so excited when he got home for work and wanting to go play play play! I forget sometimes how much spring and summer can bring joy and so much extra energy to want to do more than sit at home and be cough potatoes.

Not too much has changed recently, I am still loving every moment of my job (should I call it a career now??) and am so excited for the future it holds and how much there still is to learn! Josh is still excelling at his job and has big plans there as well!

Our biggest news at this time, is we have started the process of buying a home. We are still in the very very early stages! We filled out the loan paperwork on Wednesday, and are waiting to hear back from the bank and get our pre-approval letter so we can start making some offers! We had begun looking at houses, but I realized that it's too frustrating finding a house, and not being able to put an offer in and having to stand helplessly by while others can put in offers. So until I have the ability to put an offer in on a house, we are going to hold-off looking. A.K.A Josh will stop looking and I will maybe only spend 1/2 hour each day looking instead of that being the only thing I do outside of working hours. lol.

We are headed to Rexburg this weekend and I'm so excited for our mini-vacation. We each took Fri and Mon off of our jobs so we can enjoy more than just 2 days together!! As hard as it is sometimes to remember that we went from spending every minute of every day together, to now being seperated for about 11 hours each day is hard, but there are so many rewards and blessings from it that we survive. :)

We have done great at our goal so far of going to the temple once a week, and just love the feeling that brings. We have also started a goal of one chapter in Jesus The Christ on Monday nights for family home evening. This is to go along with our scripture reading, which this year we are reading the New Testament. I don't remember if I said or not, but last year we read the Book of  Mormon. That was my first time ever reading through all of it, and it was great to be able to read it with someone as knowledgeable as  Josh who could answer my questions and understand parts better than I. He is just such a wonderful man and I am so glad to get to spend forever with him!!

I hope all is well with everyone, and I will update soon... or later... :)
